The village of Koessen in the Kaiserwinkl region is located at 589 m above sea level in a wide basin, flanked by the majestic peaks of the Kaiser Mountains and the gentler ridges of the Kitzbuehl and Chiemgau Alps. From Koessen, you can take the cable car to the top of the Unterberghorn Mountain, where you will have a panoramic view of the neighbouring Kaiser Mountains.
