Bike Trail Tirol
When a region lies in the middle of the mountains, as Tyrol does, these mountains provide the playground for sports enthusiasts. At over 800 km long, the Tyrol Bike Trail is the longest continuous mountain bike circuit in the Alps, and two stages of it pass through Kaiserwinkl.
- 1st leg takes you from Kufstein, over St. Nikolaus at the foot of the Zahmer Kaiser, to Durchholzen, and then to Oed. After climbing the quaint Habersaueralm, gently roll the Habersauertal Valley to Kranzach, at the picturesque Walchsee Lake, and continue from there to Kössen.
- 2nd leg from Kössen to Kitzbühel might be a further challenge. The crowning final is a stretch over the Kitzbühler Horn to destination: Kitzbühel.
