Walchsee-Kaiserwinkel Region

Kössen
Kössen lies in a wide basin in Kaiserwinkl, 589 m above sea level and flanked by the peaks of the Kaisergebirge mountain range rising majestically towards the heavens and the more gentle heights of the Kitzbühel and Chiemgau Alps.
Walchsee
The village of Walchsee lies on the shores of the lake with the same name, at the foot of the Zahmer Kaiser Mountains and 668 m above sea level. It is nestled in one of the most delightful landscapes in the Tyrol lowlands, right in the middle of Kaiserwinkl.
Schwendt
The idyllic holiday destination Schwendt is spread over a plateau only 4 km from Kössen. It is 702 m above sea level on the western foothills of the Unterberghorn and enjoys a magnificent view over the northern face of the Wilder Kaiser Mountains.
Rettenschöss
Rettenschöss lies 580 m above sea level and offers visitors the chance to relax in peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This magical little mountain village invites all lovers of nature to discover the nearby untouched landscapes, meadows and woods, and to enjoy the fresh and scented Alpine air.
